I might give myself a new "nickname" of Short Shot.
This is groundhog #4, from the same location as the other 3, but this one was only 163 yards.
211, 223, 226 and now 163. This is the first sow.

I took the liberty of pinching her nipples to see if she had any milk, as a sign of pups in the den. Nothing.

....and the feeding frenzy continues. In the last few days, I've seen as many as 7 turkey buzzards here.

I’d always put the groundhogs back in the hole they came out of. Saw a bald eagle (which initially thought was a turkey buzzard) eating one it pulled outta the hole from the day before….
