Lol, looks like a milk snake to me. With very good color! Research that one and let me know.
It’s a milk snake, dude was in my shop and when I picked him up he went nuts. Hate to kill snakes, only killed a few big rattlers when I lived out west.

Late to party but yes it’s a Milk snake. I have a very long black rat hanging around my wood pile still. 2-3 years ago I snapped a pic of one which is prolly still him. He was over 6’ then.

I’ve got a huge black snake that hangs out at my barn...over 6 foot. I see him once or twice a year and always find his shed skin in my barn rafters every year. Good to have around to keep the mice out of the barn. The only poisonous snakes here in south Jersey are timber rattlers but I’ve never seen one.

I’m a fool then.
At first it looked like an eastern massuga, found 3 fresh sheds in the shop so I’m not to worried.
