Probably city slickers from Youngstown. There were 2 trolly stops relatively close, within a couple miles.

There was still a lot of trappers and waterfowl poachers traveling to find fur and feathers back then. They would move from area to area staying in hobo shacks and trespassing to get what they were after. Lots of feathers and stuff for women's hats and such.
