Pulled a card today (in N.J.) and had a deer with warts, one with a long scar?, and one whose coat looks like it is darker than normal.

The darker buck is shedding his summer coat and getting ready to start growing his winter coat.
Those "warts" are actually like moles on us and won't be an issue after you skin him out. He will most likely just keep adding them as he gets older. Seen some that cover their eyes.
Looks like that doe got lucky last year. Not sure if it's from an arrow or a bullet though. Sure are some tough critters.
