This year's bow hunting season is definitely different from the previous years. I've had several shot opportunities, but only at the oddball deer. Last week there was a button buck that still has the velvet on his 2" knobs. Then there's a 2x3 or a 5 pointer that looks like he has two entirely different antlers on his head.
Now, I've got a small buck with a curved spike on the right side and another antler that's grown down, alongside his head. He keeps hanging around, wherever I'm located....and I've moved 3x.
