No doubt about it . I'm jinxed when it comes to goose bands . Well, whoever controls such luck was asleep at the wheel last evening and lo and behold one of my 5 birds sported some bling .
I hunted a small field a few small flocks had been using. First flock I got 2 , 2nd flock i went 3 for 3 . Once again everyone was busy .

PS If you've never seen a hairlip goose check out his beak . Banded in 2010 as a juvie .

I better buy a lottery ticket. Back to back hunts , if ya wanna call it that . Thursday night I went to a big ponded area guys have pass shooting the property line and there were 5 cripples there. I went back last night and mopped em up and one had bling .
Banded locally in 2008 .
