Swamp smell

Anyone else dealing with this? My leech field will often get a smell going when we have high traffic. That’s what I chalked the smell up to until I went for a walk the other day. It’s my creek! All these leaves I suppose along with the lack of rain during late summer? Maybe? I don’t know, but I do know it stinks.

Kind of makes sense, maybe.... if there was little pools that were stagnant for awhile and then rain stirred it up. That’s pretty much what happened with my creek but I haven’t noticed a smell.

Yup was hunting a dead creek bottom just the other day. Holds a little water not much then ananother creek about 25 yards away.

Smelled like absolute shit. Sorta funny ya mention that. Had me wondering if they would even drink from it.

Yep, smell it all the time around us up here given the flat land and close proximy to Lake Erie. Very unique smells with each season...luv it!

Shrimp balls and swamp smell are not the same thing. Close, but each has it's own special funk
