I’ve been back and forth about getting a crossbow for added ease now. Cabelas has the following on sale for Black Friday.

Tenpoint titan m1 w/ accu-draw: $629

Wicked Ridge M370: $450

Anyone able to give their review on either?

I only have a wicked ridge that was purchased for my daughter. If/ when it's time for a string rifle, I'll be going with ten point.

My first crossbow was a Horton, decent bow back in its day. They were bought out by a couple different companies. Quality wained, and they eventually closed their doors.
I bought a Ten Point in the late 90’s. Shot it for 10+ years. Replaced it with another Ten Point because I couldn’t pass the deal up. This one is closing on 15 years old. One string and set of cables in that timeframe.
I‘ll replace this one, some day with another Ten Point…..
They‘re an Ohio based company and they stand behind their products.

I've had a Ten Point for years.
Accudraw is very cool.
After the thing was long out of warranty i developed a small crack in a limb. Took it back to factory and they replaced the limbs and restung for a very reasonable price. It's now a brand new bow, as accurate and deadly as ever.
When I first got it the thing was zeroed out of the box.
Solid.
I'll never buy another brand.
(I would accept an Excalibur as a gift.)

You can’t go wrong with either, it just depends on what you want out of the bow I guess. Speed in my opinion has never been a dealbreaker for me with any archery equipment, but that could be a factor for you. The accudraw system is nice, but in my opinion is more of a hassle than just using a rope cocker for cocking it if you’re capable. The only issue I’ve found with any of the TenPoints cocking mechanisms is 99% operator error. There are very few steps while using them, but if you over crank them (Most common “issue”), shits gonna break. The new accuslide is bad ass, but you’re gonna pay for it. Both Wicked Ridge and TenPoint are made in Mogadore, OH and they have fantastic customer service. I’ve worked on both brands, and every model for a handful of years now at a Service Center and can say they stand behind all of their products. If you have any more questions on either one, or specifics feel free to PM me.

I have a tenpoint stealth nxt that had worked well for me but I've never shot anything but targets with it.

My father worked at Ten Point after he retired from school teaching. The TP are made with higher grade aluminum and better machine quality. The WR is built with more plastic parts to improve its price point to the average consumer. Ideally you want an aluminum rail and the TP trigger box. That’s what makes the TP a better choice.

Go through and tighten everything?? Could be something simple causing it. Jenna's crank handle has a magnet inside that came loose and it would vibrate bad on the shot. Was a simple fix with this stuff called Gorilla glue........
I haven't messed with it. My dad's ten point sounded the same way. Sounds like an arrow smacking plywood.
