Your prediction was correct sir. Opening day just after 7 am I harvested a doe from the eagles nest. It was my first deer. She was a little thing but should be delicious. I also saw an 8 point we have got on the trail cam. He was just meandering through the woods shortly after I shot the doe. To far away to shoot so I watched him for around 40 minutes or so. Before he finally left. Also saw three more does a bit north of me after that. Sunday morning I had 8 does come in at 7:25 am. The first one in was a small one. She looked right at me and started to paw. Then she blew like crazy and my morning was shot. But still a great opening weekend for me.
