That buck is unreal, and despite the video being older than myself, that is still great footage! Thanks for sharing fellas!

The classic body language of a truly mature deer...very deliberate in his movements. He wasn't going to take another step unless he was absolutely sure in his mind it was the right one...
Yeah he did but too bad it wasn't when we both had him in on that particular day or the year after. Lol
Ironically he was killed by a stander of a huge group of gun hunters BEFORE the drive actually started. The stander was standing on a hillside with the drive being setup across a creek road and he and another stander saw him walking in between them heading into the area being driven. He prolly got pushed out of the area from other hunters and was heading towards the thick and nasty honeysuckle and greenbriar choked hillside in which he used for a hiding place throughout his lifespan. Congrats to the lucky hunter for being in the right place at the right time and making a great shot on a lifetime buck.
I'll try to dig up that video sometime, it was awesome! I wish I knew how to post up the whole video though cuz it's 13 minutes and like 12 seconds long. His actions during that standoff shows EXACTLY what Chad is talking about in his demeanor and body posture.

Finally had a moment to watch the video. What a hoss, really too bad you couldn't get him! What an experience none the less!
