A total of 8,749 acres at the Salt Fork State Park and Egypt Valley Wildlife Area are being considered for fracking approval in late March or early April.
So no new pads or limited access roads to be built thru any of the current push areas?
No. It is my understanding that the leases prohibit any new surface disturbances. This is soley to allow the extraction of the minerals at a depth of 5K feet or more via laterals drilled on private ground around the park.
