Damn... Tragic indeed.

I just don't understand what people are thinking when they venture out over ice-cold water and choose not to wear PFD's. You'd think that common sense would come into play, yet every year these same news articles pop up. It's a damn shame.

That's one of my biggest fears in life. Between drowning and burning alive, I can't imagine a worse fate...

yep I always wear mine. The new PFD are more form fitting and less cumbersome but are a little pricey. I think it was worth the money.
