Damn! NJ posts the dates, locations and amount of trout on their website and their Facebook page. I’m surprised all states don’t do that.

Over 84,000 rainbow trout are released every spring in public lakes and ponds across Ohio.
Last year but I bet they update it
They do it in Ohio too. Just doesn't usually come out until the end of this month.

Division of Wildlife Stocked More than 52 Million Fish Throughout Ohio in 2022
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife stocked 52.3 million fish of 11 species in Ohio waters throughout 2022. Fish were stocked during spring, summer, and fall at 203 locations statewide.
We were told they would not be stocking Wolf Run with trout! They will be putting saugeye in it. We are very disappointed.

After years of stocking Lake McKarns in Williams County, the powers that be declared, "No-mo for you!" The reasons? Maybe, its bodies of water are too big, its population is too small and not diverse enough, and, it's too far away, the price of fuel being what it is.
But, I could be wrong. It just might be political. Ha!
