Im heading to Lima for a Veterans hunt this weekend. Ten Point will be there to loan out cross bows for anyone that wants to use them. Im not sure how many different properties we will be on, I know we will be at the Tank Plant, Husky, and Johnny Appleseed park and some private properties have been given to us to hunt as well. Im hoping to land my 1st buck while Im up there. I head out Friday afternoon from work. We hunt Saturday morning, break for lunch, then hunt again that afternoon. Then we come in for dinner, and we get to meet all of the sponsors. We go back out Sunday morning, and that's it. I look forward to this every year as I have made quite a few friends along the way. This will be my 4th year hunting with these guys. The guy in charge, Joe Sawmiller, does most of the fund raising on his own. The group is called Hunting with Heroes if anyone would like to look them up. It should be a good time, I will keep everyone updated as to how it goes.

Great to read. Veterans deserve much more than just a deer hunt. Hope you get a good one, buddy. Thanks for protecting our rights.
Have fun up there Dustin! While you are networking, see if there is a roll TOO can play in this next year. We'd be happy to help somehow!
Our local WO works with this group every year. I left him a voicemail letting him know Hank was available to assist in recoveries this weekend if needed. If he calls me back I will ask as well. Multiple people asking different folks involved might be the way to go.
