Supposedly it is mine to have. It is from my granddads collection. My brother has it right now. Says it needs a new stock. I just don't remember it. I think he may be wrong on the chamber's. He is in GA and the gun is in storage at my mom's. Hopefully he can go over to mom's and pick it up soon. He doesn't hunt so he said he wants me to have it.
Hopefully he will send me some info this weekend. Will be interesting to find out. Either way will be a nice addition.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is European and the smaller barrel wasn't originally .410. In England many rifles were altered to shotgun to comply with stupid laws. Or it was done here because ammo for the original caliber wasn't available.
16 gauge was popular in German combo guns.
16 ga is a really popular European gauge....
I've seen .22, 22 mag, 22 hornet, with varying gauge shotguns... But really haven't seen different gauge over/unders....

Should know more tomorrow. Brother is going to send me the mfg and model tomorrow. I am going to have him verify chamber size as well.
