I do not live in North Ridgeville, but ran across this article. Why would landowners have to register land and also why stand hunting only? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cl...olice-dispatcher-job-open.html?outputType=amp

I’m assuming that normally there is no hunting allowed in that area. Registration allows the owners too hunt it.

These are suburb deer. Lots of houses packed tightly together. The city is just implementing some CYA precautions. It’s better than the alternative, which is hiring sharpshooters.

Stand hunting only creates a safe angle for shooting in tight quarters.

That's so hunters that participate know what landowners are allowing their land / backyards for urban deer hunting. They do that here.. or use to, in some areas of town.

I know a guy that hunt that city and he stacks those deer up! Tons of urban deer.
