Anyone ever order trees off the wildlife group? What worked for ya if ya did?

I have never ordered trees. But I would support local and I would think they would know best for that specific area. That said @at1010 would probably be the best to answer this.

What type of trees?!

My absolute favorite nursery for fruit trees is Stark Bros. They produce well. They grow fast. They have disease resistant root stocks available and great customer service.

1. Don’t buy sawtooth - bunch of hype and they are bullshit. Fast growing non native trees, that will out compete our native oaks. Maybe not in our life but it ain’t worth it. Imo. 2. For fruit - check stark bros. B118 root stock (I believe) is their disease resistant apples. Their pears are great as well.
3. I’ve used mossy oak native nurseries. Trees are small but roots always have seems in great shape. Also good pricing.

Maybe check with your county. Mine has tree and fish sales each year.
