The spot where I shot my buck last year was the perfect set up. I put up a cam across from my blind that's back behind those logs .Deer funnel into that corner of my neighbors property all the time. I was able to put up a pop up in that spot since I'm sandwiched in between two trails. These two just entered the funnel....

They're feeling frisky ! This spot has been a constant parade of does & pretty nice bucks .....

2nd buck ......

My popup is just on the inside , opposite of where the buck is .....

Disregard ....lol. That was the same buck after looking closer at those antlers. He came back rather quickly after chasing that doe, then went on up briar alley.

This is a cool buck though spread isn't beyond the ears. Different cams caught him this morning & then he came back thru this evening before neighbor got in his way & he ran back the way he came. I figured he'd repeat tomorrow am, but since he got spooked, doubtful. Anyway, I started counting points this am & finally came up with a total 13 pts after viewing this evening video & pics ....

I shot my buck too soon. My targets returned soon afterwards .... . I believe that's a silver lining since some of these will be here next season & bigger. Anyway, this particular buck now has some sort of wound & he's limping. He didn't have that on the only daytime video from a few weeks ago & he had it last week & hopefully I'll get another daytime video. IF he's around next season, I can't wait to see what his antlers will look like ......
