Woman hit in Columbus crosswalk

Candy is a hometown girl that I knew and was also related to my brother in law. Just thought I would post this up here to make people aware and pay a little closer attention to those crosswalks out there. Candy will have her funeral arrangement starting Monday.

Candy's kids picked out her casket and such. Just a sad day and a hard time for them now. I guess the guy that hit her and like a lot of others that drive that section don't even see that light or crosswalk as they are going down the hill and looking at the color of the light at the top of the next hill. I hope they finally do something about that crosswalk right there.


Another sad part is she wasn't the only one hit and killed in a crosswalk in Columbus that day. There was another woman 2-3 blocks away that was hit by 2 cars and killed. She was under the second car and that car had to be lifted off of her to retrieve her body. Senselessness.
