So I am gonna be taking my 9 year old grandson out sometime in the near future. I have been looking at getting his license and tag and I'm a little confused. Is a youth license and tag good for.the whole season? Or is it just during youth hunts?

Good luck with the grandson. My one grandson got his 1st deer when he was 9. His older brother was 11 when he got his 1st deer. Fun times that I'm going to miss as I took them when they each got 2 deer. They are almost 17 and 19 now and don't need grandpa's help much any more. The 14 yr. old granddaughter says she's not the "wood zey type". Hopefully she'll come around and go into my tower. The DIL wants to go with me just to watch and maybe the granddaughter will tag along. I just can hope and pray.
