This morning started off raining pretty good in PA. We never heard any gobblers when they were on the roost. We finally just went and setup at a spot that we know the frequently visit. About 640 we were setup and I started calling. After a few minutes a bunch of jakes fired up below us. They were answering every call I made and really got fired up. After about 10 minutes or so they peaked up over the bank and cam in. He rolled the lead bird. After the shot the bird started flopping back down over the bank. Colton jumps up and fires 2 more shots at the bird flopping. The other jakes were still standing there and were gobbling at the shots. LOL. The last 2 shots weren't necessary though as the bird was done in. I told him he fired about $10 worth of extra ammo at the bird. It was a jake with a 4" beard.
