Thanks for sharing that one J! Pretty long drive for me but I might have to go have a look. It says it is around Jelico… that’s a big hill and there are elk in the area. Used to see them often on Jelico Mtn.

I also think about early season in Kentucky
I have never hunted whitetail deer out of state
It starts the forst Saturday of September. If you’d like to get together and head that way just speak up! Lots of public land pretty close to the river. We never look for anything other than deer. Not looking for a big rack at all… just so nice to knock the dust off almost a month ahead of Ohio.

I’m following this thread as I would have interest since Jellico is about an hour away from me. Gonna be on snake alert though around that area especially that time of the year.
