And for the record, why would you have a closed season on a varmint like a crow?!? ODNR, wtf?!?!

It has to do with a federal regulation. That states you can only hunt them X number of days a year. Some states do a season. Ohio does a 3 days a week plus closed days.

Believe it or not that federal regulation is due to an old migratory bird treaty with Mexico.

Joe that is why having plenty of dan's decoys will pay off bigtime. a lot of crows will decoy when they are massed up like that. You need a lot of decoys for pulling power and at the price dan is selling these you can afford them on anyone's budget

Yeah.. We busted up the flock going in and managed to pull a couple into the deeks.. Winged him and he was hopping around so some came in and we dusted number two. But we got there late and they were heading back to roost.

No shit.. Because within ten minutes that fugger had walked all the way across the field to the woods.. I had to run 400 yards and blast him again before he made it out of there. lol
