The arguement for handguns to have the same regulation was put down, because the ODNR said, "The handgun hunters are not shooting each other. In fact we don't have any accidents on record with handguns, during the deer gun season."

So are we suppose to only have 3 rounds in a hand gun when hunting Deer?
I never really gave it much thought.

There are no regulations for magazine capacity with handguns.

Magazine capacity has been a topic of interest for the ODNR, concerning PCRs. However, I don't see it becoming an issue for allowing them to be a legal hunting weapon. Time will tell...and we may not know until the hunting regulations are finalized in mid-summer.

I would say will see single shot rifles in blackpowder rounds before we will ever see pistol rounds in rifles more than 3 shot mags.
Probaly never see the 444 Marlin as it was never blackpowder loaded.
