Facing south...

I got a picture of Deuce crossing below this tree in 2008. It's the narrowest spot in the 1/2 long bottom. I have acorns to the north and east, with good bedding on the hillside and ridge across from me. With 7 hours of dozer work Friday and 7 hours of brush hogging Sunday, I don't know what to expect...

Looks weird seeing all that tall stuff cut down.

No kidding right?!? It will make hunting with a decoy pretty sweet, but he destroyed a ton of cover. It also opens up huge food plotting possibilities because we can get a tractor in here now. I think when the dust settles, I'll like it better like this. I'm already working on dad to plant beans since it would be a giant 2.5 acre food plot!!!

Great looking area. When I see pics like these it reminds me why I hate this flat land so much.

Good luck brother, I'm getting rained on and ended up cleaning my garage instead of hunting.

Well, I'm headed for my first skunk of the season. No big surprise really other than the fact I sat a stand with the most viewable area of the season and didn't see anything but squirrels! Oh well...

I hope you have some clover in those mowed lanes. If not, you better get some next year. That looks good to me.

No clover, but I'm going to seed the road and bare spots with some sort of wildlife mix. The big field will get a 1 acre bean field, the small one will get a 1/2 late season plot, then I'll have two 1/4 acre plots of something gombe determined. I love planting plots, so I'm pumped about the new possibilities.
