I love my XT, so to get rid of it, it will take an equally smooth draw and shot from a bow that will push a 450 grain arrow over 300fps. I want a little more speed from my set-up to reduce pin gap and make me more effect on the 3D course and odd yardages in the woods. Plus a flatter shooting bow makes shooting through smaller holes more possible. IMO, the XT is one of, if not the best shooting bow ever made. It's simply built to shoot and smooth is it's middle name. But I have a little of the speed bug in me and it has to be addressed...

Yeah I remember last year on OS you were pondering the idea of upgrading to a little faster setup, i'm sure I will uprade eventually but I don't think I would ever get rid of my XT, will be a great bow to pass down whenever I have kids!

It will be interesting to see what you end up with, a lot of good bows on the market!

I guess I am just not a speed freak. I am 275fps in hunting setup. Right around 400 grains. Plenty to kill a deer. Good luck with spending your money. haha

From what I've heard, that Elite Pulse is a bad ass bow... awesome speed AND smooth like a Z. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those bows dude... well except for that Mathews Safari... that'd just be gay if you bought that one. :)

I was handed a new carnage tonight. Came with a hitman 7 pin sight and a whisker biscuit. I'll set it up hopefully tomorrow afternoon or saturday and I'll let ya know how I like it.
