That is good Jesse!

Just left Skeeter Creek a little while ago. Have 2 bows ready to dial in the pins now! Saw Beentown at an intersection on my way out. Gave him the bird but I don't think he knew who I was. Had to show him my TOO shirt logo from across the intersection. Lol

I sure hope it was Beener anyway or the bald guy with beard in the Durango probably is still scratching his head. Lmao

Must have been while I was trying to call you. Got your voicemail. Your initial look was priceless. "Who the heck is the goofy guy giving me the bird?" Lmao

BTW not "bald". I shave my head but still have plenty of hair. ;) for now...just cutting it off (ha) at the curve.

I did get a bunch done yesterday. Weed eated from the cabin to all my stands, put down 200 pounds of corn and 100 of molasses, hung three cameras, and two stands. The six year old helped the whole time. Mind you we sont have a quad anymore...we were hoffing everything. She did enjoy the creek and ole hunting cabin we have @ this property.

Awesome stuff Charles!

Just got done hanging and trimming my 5th and final set this afternoon. Now it's just shooting my bow and washing my hunting clothes and smoking them up. That's just TOO good!

I just hope nobody messes with my stands between now and the end of deer season. :smiley_baby:

Good stuff Charles!

I may take tomorrow afternoon off to hang some stands. My weekends have been jammed packed and I can't seem to get anything done. I checked a few and hung on yesterday while planting plots, but I still have 4 left to hang/move. Sure be nice to get them done soon!

Hung over as a mofo, but still managed to get all my climbing sticks organized to hit the woods by the end of the week. Time for a beer to get over the final hump.

That road encounter story is hilarious

Got an unexpecting surprise text from Sean Curran last night informing me he was going to be in my area today. We made arrangements to me at a nice pub not 20 minutes from my home and have lunch and visit. We had a nice visit over Jalopena poppers and burgers. We talked about family, hunting, jobs and the site and it's members. We both agree and are proud to belong to such a great family of TOOzers.
Thanks for the lunch buddy and give me a heads up on your next trip down and if I can get away we'll have lunch or supper here at my place. We can maybe grill out and shoot our bows!:smiley_coolpeace:

Fwiw, I'm off on Wednesday nights. Lol

So... What did you really say about Huck?

rotflmao Really, we actually talked a good bit about the quality of people around this place... Huck included. TOO is our deer camp away from deer camp.

Lunch was great today Ric! Good call on that restaurant for sure. Really glad everything worked out and we were able to get together on such short notice! I'll try to keep Wednesday's in mind for my SW Ohio trips & maybe bring the bow along TOO. A little shooting over lunch sounds like a good plan for sure.

Stuff. Got stuff done. Been hustling since 6am. Waiting on kids to finish eating. Taking 2 to 2 different practices. Dropping off babysitter. Coming back with the youngest to pick up the middle child from Volleyball so we can go to watch the last hour of the oldest child's football. After this it is home to crack the whip some more. SHOWERS! EAT! GO TO BED! Then if I have an ounce of luck in my scheduling and juggling abilities I will get to fling a dozen or so arrows!

Been a long day, but we accomplished a bunch and tomorrow I am hoping for more of the same. Get this big job done and billed and start on the next project. I want to be done with all scheduled jobs in the next 4 weeks. Siding on tree house and paint on pole barn are on my "job list". I WILL use my employees to knock them out if needed. lol Once bow season opens I don't want to have any jobs to do but the regular weekly/daily scheduled jobs.

Congrats Scot on the new addition to the family!

Phil, you just tired me out dude! Glad to hear your busy but don't kill yourself in the process. Lol It will feel great to get all of that done so you can concentrate on deer hunting though!

Well put Sean! Huck and everyone else included makes this place like deer camp and home away from home!
