Last few yrs I have been using a TC Encore with a 45-70 barrel that I had the chamber Tapped to except a TC breachplug. Have used a TC Hawken in 50 cal in the distance past for couple deer. Picked up a TC Scout in 54 cal for the grandsons to use. Maybe this year.
