Thanks again TOOzers. Just wanted to add one more pic. This is a pic of my broadhead(100grain Muzzy). It blew right through the ribs like hot butter but didn't yield much of a bloodtrail. He only ran 30 yards before doing down and it was wet but still kinda puzzled as to why he didn't bleed much. When I cut into his diaphram in the field dressing process it was a bloody mess in there.haha

Two of the blades were bent up pretty good and one was still looking unscathed. Here is the pic:

Finally since I couldn't find a small measuring tape I've misplaced I bought one this morning on the way home from work and just finished scoring my 2012 Halloween buck. In case you can't see his numbers he grossed 133&7/8, with side to side deducts(3&6/8) and ab deducts(2&6/8) he nets out at 127&3/8.

Here is my score sheet:

Dolp..... Haha, I saw I missed a big deduction 2&2/8 worth on my side to side column! Lol

127&3/8 minus 2&2/8 will be his net score putting him at 125&1/8 FWIW.

Corrected score and scoresheet:

My buddy Stacey has gotten pretty danged good at mounting deer! Self taught and watching Derry for many years. He thought I ruined my deers cape last year when I put borax on the inside of the hide before freezing as hairs were starting to come out and slip. Well, he thawed it out just after deer guns season and fleshed it thoroughly and thinks the cape might be fine. A few more hairs have fallen out but after a good washing it appears nothing came out in clumps and what little hair that has fallen will not be noticeable.

Here are a few pics of my 2012 Halloween buck mount that Stacey has started doing for me. He has done an awesome job and its going through the drying process right now. A huge THANK YOU to Stacey for trying his best to save and use my original cape!!!

I'll post more pics in the future when he finishes up on the detailing and I get him home.

My buddy Stacey did an unbelievable job saving my original cape and mounting my 2012 Halloween buck for me! Derry Null also did a great job on Character and Splits as he always does with Ron and my deer in seasons past. This is the first time I've been able to have three special deer taken off the same property in three consecutive years over the fireplace at the same time.
A big thanks to Derry and Stacey for bringing these special deer to life so I can relive those special moments everytime I look at them.
