I've often wondered if I targeted just possums, would I catch more canines and coon?

I think the state should put a bounty on them, maybe we would stop catching them ;)

Just got back from checking traps caught 1 coon and 1 rat and 2 grinners lol. I told my trappin buddy I will not take another pic of a grinner the rest of the year and the smart ass said I wouldn't be taken a lot of pictures then.

pics of coon coming

Keep at it man. You'll run out of grinner's before long, just keep killin them. I will have to say, I kept every grinner I ever trapped. Skinned and fleshed many of them for 1-5.00 each. One year I had like 30-some grinner's stretched and dried. Got 3.00 across the board for all of them. A lot of work for 90.00.....But that 90.00 bought a lot of gas back then!

Got all traps reset and freshened up today except the rats (still looking for a nice spot) I posted in another thread about 2 new scrapes showing up along the pasture, the buck was there again last night and tore a tree up. I put a camera by a scrape to see what he looks like hopefully I have some good pics in the mornin.

What model is it? Just discussed this with their customer service and they said Horton Yukon limbs were 96.00 They have you go too their site fill out a form and then they give you a return # and you mark that # on the box and then ship it too them..... Just had too get clarification on whether that covered cables and the string and mechanical parts as well, waiting on their response that I had sent yesterday..... They did answer the first one the next day and it was on saturday....

It's a Hunter Supreme, I can't find a model # on it.
It shoots fine for me but I ran into a guy that said he had one and had all sorts of problems with it until he changed the cable and string.(said it was some upgrade horton made)
I'm new to the crossbow hunting so I'm trying to figure stuff out lol

Best I can tell you is contact their customer service through their website and ask them directly.... They will send the parts to o an authorized dealer as well too have them fix it. But they seem too be fairly quick with their responses so far..... Good luck.... Keep us posted on the results.... :smiley_coolpeace:

Now that the first gun season is over I reset a few traps today between the rain showers, I plan to reset everything tomorrow. I only had a few traps set during gun season, mostly for rats and a couple coon traps in the ditch I'm trapping.
I've got 16 rats out of the little area I have. Still looking for other areas.
I'm gonna hit the coon hard for the next week and see what happens.

I go to UM fri mornin at 8 to see what this quack surgeon has to say and find out if my season will be short.
