I say 190ish as well. When they get that damn big, all bets are off when guessing score on my end. But if that deer don't flirt with 200, then that's some damn good photography!!!

Well, it's official I do believe. This buck was shot very close to Diane's house. She was told tonight that it scored 198 green. One of the neighbors seen him in the flesh and Diane seen him cross the road one day with 4 other bucks.

The Taxi I do work for, told me he got it directly from Ty McCombs' mouth that the buck was shot in my neighborhood. Ty even mentioned the name of my road. &*^%$#@ He needs to find someplace else to lease and leave OUR bucks alone.

I don't know if this buck is the one I saw, but trust me when I say, if my only opportunity to get the buck I saw was with my car, then I'd have it mounted with my bumper. Just saying.................

Jackalope is 100% right (look at Ty's hunt prices NOW!). I was on this hunt with Ricky Kreuter! We arrived Sunday night (11/11) to hunt the rut. Our guide Ty McCombs drove up to us and welcomed us to his "chalet" by... putting his pickup window down and saying "I'm Ty". Apparently it took him about 5 minutes after getting Ricky's call that the deer was on the ground before he turned into a swingin' hillbilly dick-head guide from hell!! I had 3 buddies with me, including my little brother, celebrating my 50th birthday on Nov 16th. His prices were low that year, because the economy had taken a sweet bite out of his business... but we still paid an honest $1800 each for the week. What we were about to disvover, what was advertised as a 4-6 man camp was actually a 13-man camp. What we also didn't know, foolishly, was that this deer which was showing up on multiple trail Cams was in no way, never ever, not a chance in the fiery pit ever going to be anywhere near any of us "normal" hunters. Ricky Kreuter flew into camp that Saturday night and shot the deer in the field Ty was watching since he was a teenager ( I guess) on Sunday night, spending a grand total of 2 hours on stand! Guys, jus' sayin'... if you put in the work, find a giant, figure him out and put him on the ground, THEN you deserve the credit. that ain't what happened. Meanwhile, the four of us went on to have a hunt so sour and ugly by a man turned so pompous and arrogant because of a deer (small, four-legged animal of which there are millions of...) that we all joke about him and his Lame-O outfit six years later... and will for life. We were made to feel like such A-Holes... we had to wait about 8 months for the FINAL joke on us! When Beyond The Hunt aired the hunt the following season. We'd been interviewed in camp, all 13 of us, thinking we'd at least be on the show for a spot. Sure, right! No, it was all about Ricky Kreuter and Ty McCombs. So, unless your name is Ricky or Jackie Bushman or something like Tex Winkerstein, STAY FAR AWAY from people like Ty McCombs because you'll get churned and burned... and he couldn't give a Rip.

Find your own ground, you'll be more successful and have more fun too!!
