I hunt NY every year with my in-laws (alphamax and his dad). Let everything walk last weekend and Wed till this morning. Today is my last day of the season for me up here so I took a doe when presented with the opportunity.

That's always the way it works. During bow they stay out of range. During gun they come right in.

Congrats! I have the 30-06 I usr for Ky.. I took 2 does opening morning within seconds of each other from about the same distance.. I love it when there is no tracking job cause the power of that rifle drops them where they stand.. At least every doe that I have ever shot has..
