Do you shoot coyotes during the Deer Gun Season?

I see no problem in shooting a coyote during deer hunting.
During Youth Season this year my grandson shot a nice doe at 7:30AM. We tagged it and left it lay where it fell in plain view of our hunting tower at 33 yds. Within 15 minutes we had another doe come in within 25 yrds of the dead deer. Couple minutes later we had another doe come in within 25 yds. Then 2 does and 2 fawns came in withing 10 yds of the dead deer. Then another doe came in and walked within 20 yds of the dead deer.
So within 45 minutes we had 6 more deer come in after the orginal shot and none was bothered by the shot or the dead deer laying there in plain sight.
Shoot all the coyotes during deer season.

I have been looking for them extra hard everyday since Tuesday when I killed my deer.

I had 3 yesterday afternoon all togther running across a field at 200 yds and didn't take the shot. I will wait for a better opportunity.

I have been on coyote green light during the gun seasons for the last 3 years. Last year I shot one on Monday morning 15 minutes into the season.

4 doe came through a little whole ago. Then a yote running about 90 through the oak woods. BOOM! Hit him right in the ass. He spun around and hobbled over the high wall to the creek bottom below. He won't come back this way no more! Lol

Nice job, Mike! Coyotes are the one animal I don't worry about wounding and not finding. Shows a serious flaw in my character I suppose, but I can't help it. Even if I hit one in the guts, I figure it won't feel like eating a deer, so everyone but the coyote wins.

Saturday of gun season I took a slow walk through the In-laws farm with my FIL sitting at a good spot. I moved 29 deer past him including 5 bucks. All but 6 of the deer were within 60 yards and at a slow walk past him. We had certain standards due to the temps and time we had. I ended up stalking within 10 yards of a coyote before he took off and I drilled him. He was big, larger than the in-laws border collie and then my FIL shot. He got the other one in the 2nd picture at 80 yards when it stopped.

So how much does it cost to tan out a coyote hide? The one I got was pretty enough I was contemplating it but didn't know the cost involved.
