Oh, and make sure they get Vitamin C daily or they get sick and die. You can get the kind that is added to water, food that has it added in, or both for extra precaution.

I think we did both, but it's been many years ago.

Although sad, what a great story about a couple of kids that will surely grow to be responsible, good adults. You and you wife should be proud for raising good children!

Great story Phil. I lol'd when you posted on my FB, and then felt bad like you did! I lost a hampster to a cat when I was a kid. He'll hardly remember it when he grows up. I never got another one... Having it get loose multiple times and having it for a couple weeks was enough for me. It's funny that he's thinkin about having a pet and making money off them! It'll be good. He'll learn real quick the hassle probably isn't worth the 5 bucks!

I would agree Tim but I think it is a good learning tool about responsibility. Also a nice segway into other talks about the birds and the bees. We have chatted a bit in the tree stand watching a young buck run around frustrated but haven't gotten into any graphic details. Lol

Not gonna happen. However. . . .

Garrett went in for allergy testing a couple weeks ago. They poked him 50+ times and drew blood to test for immunity deficiencies. We are trying to figure out why he keeps getting colds. On a side note, he is now getting tonsils/adnoids removed. Back on track here, Erin felt so bad for him after all the poking she stopped to get him the other guinea pig.

We now have Rosalina and Mario. They are growing. Mario is pretty cool, but the last few days he has been getting a little more "frisky." Nobody has witnessed anything yet, but he is chasing her around the cage and purring a lot. Time will tell. I suppose we will be seeing a fat Rosalina before too long though. lmao

Oh, the purring is so cool! Wait until Mario starts swaying his hips. It's funny stuff for sure!
