HAHA! If I have it my way, my little girl will walk tall and carry a big stick. If she thinks they're worth bringing home to dad, they may be alright!

Plenty of us with kids a little older than yours Jesse. I am sure we can give you pointers after we go through it. Lord knows I listen to everything CJD has to say in regards to daughters. lmao

I think you are on the right track already. Raise her right and she can take care of herself. If she brings one home you know he must be "okay".

Headed to Alexander high school for the sectional wrestling tournament. I have two cousins wrestling. The youngest is a sophomore and he won his 40th match of the season last night setting a we school record for pins in a season. My other cousin is a senior. He also won last night and set a new school record for career wins. We might send all 10 wrestlers to districts if they wrestle well.

Dang Jesse, sounds like your cousins are a couple studs! My son wrestled from the 2nd grade up, I kinda miss those 12-14 hour days in the gym on those lazy boy bleachers. ;) I do have a lot of good memories from the years though. How many wins does your senior cousin have? Did he top the 100 mark?

153. Both a quiet, laid back dudes. But they are technically as sound as they find. They are in the finals after pin wins this morning. Cousins wrestling a pair of brothers from Sheridan in the sectional finals.

153 is an unbelievable number! 100 is huge but 153 is just crazy, congrats to him.
Sheridan always has good wrestlers. They have super wrestling and football programs there. My son wrestled heavyweight and the year he won the MVL Championship he beat the Sheridan wrestler in double overtime 3-2 for the championship.

Got my hinge cutting done at the farm and I think it'll make a big improvement to the two immediate areas I did it. I was drinking a cold one and BS'ing with my old man when the guy who cuts the hay on us stopped by. By the time he left, he agreed to plant out back field in corn, which is 3 acres, till up my old plot on the inside corner of the corn, and possibly till up about 1.5 acres for me in our bottom. This will be HUGE in my quest to kill Captain Jack!

I wondered why all the cars were at the high school when I drove by. Hell if I woulda seen this post earlier I would've dropped in and said hey.

The wife and I surprised our kids by taking them to meet the star of one of their favorite shows today after my sons basketball game. I also managed to pick up 200 rounds of 5.56

Got out in the woods Saturday afternoon for a bit with the kids. I didn't have any expectations of finding any shed since we just got a fresh snow, but we had fun regardless + gave Momma some peace & quiet on her birthday weekend.

Both kids found rubs on their own without me pointing them out, which made me smile. We followed a rub line back into some thick bedding & came upon two beds. They were still even somewhat warm. I had fun with the kids and knelt down, smelled the beds, and looked back up, "smells like deer farts." They both lost it...

One of the rubs my son found, then he did things to the tree that only make sense since he was my son... rotflmao

We wandered around for a while just exploring until we found a big tree to climb. Who needs playground equipment when you've got stuff like this to climb on...

And then what else is there to do except jump off of it... over & over & over & over...

Hauled out two dump truck loads of rounds my dad and I cut over the weekend. Took advantage of the frozen ground this morning. Now I can get them all split and stacked. Also hauled out one load of log lengths between 8-12' long. I will cut them to length and split them after all the rounds are split. Felt good to get them out. I was afraid the ground would get sloppy and it would be mid summer before I could get them out.

They have some guns in that store, don't they?! I was there on Friday morning when the doors opened. .22 sold out in 7 minutes.
