Lee Classic Turret Press. Looks like a good buy. I may have to treat your Dad to lunch and learn...

Same one I've been reloading on since August, I absolutely love it. Took me a few hundred rounds to get used to, but once you get rolling on it you can crank out some rounds efficiently.

I like how it has the ability to crank out a lot of rounds due to the "turret" setup, but you can still use it as a single stage very easily when working on rifle rounds or rounds you want to do in stages.

That is why I went with it and the price is outstanding.

Do you know what powder dropper/measure it comes with or what you plan to use?

If you use the Pro Auto Disk Measure, get the "double disk kit", it will allow a lot more flexibility and finite measurements than just the single disk.

If you use the auto disk measure, get this as well: http://leeprecision.com/auto-disk-riser.html It keeps the powder storage from hitting when the the turret turns.

This is what I have coming so far:

Lee Classic Turret Press
Pro Auto-Disk powder measure
Auto-Disk Riser
Large and Small Safety Primer
Cutter, Lock Stud, Chamfer Tool
Small and large Primer Pocket Cleaner
Lee case sizing lube
Lee Safety powder scale
Modern Reloading Second Edition
9mm Carbide 4 die set
.223 Pacesetter dies
Extra turret plate

I need bullets, primers, .308 dies and powder.

Here is a pic of my step - grandsons with Mark Wood. He's one of the original members of The Trans Siberian Orchestra. He was at Newark High School today with area orchestra students. My stepdaughter just sent me the pic, so I know the boys were quite excited.

I got to represent TOO today. In my house, with my hoodie on. A man named Kyle came to look at (and buy) one of my puppies and saw I had sheds laying around for them to chew on.

He said he hoped to train his to shed hunt, so I told him about this site and told him to sign up and that ya'll could give him all kinds of advice on it. :smiley_bril:

Boys weekend. Garrett had his last basketball game. They won. Only one loss on the season!

Got a crapload of firewood split and stacked.

Treated ourselves to a shed hunting excursion. Didn't find any but found some dandy rubs. Some were fresh and so were a couple scrapes. Weird.

Now we are at Westside Pizza for pizza and wings. After this it will be home to work on dishes, laundry, and homework. Showers and bed to follow. A little bit of work, a little bit of play. Just daddy and the boys.

Thanks Ricer. They had a good season. Garrett was bummed he didn't score any points this year. I lost track of the number of steals and rebounds he had. He played great defense as well. Unfortunately, as an 8yr old he just wanted to score a basket or two. Poor kid. Fails to realize how critical his contribution was. I was really proud of his defense. I only remember seeing him get burnt a couple times all season. He just hasn't quite found the hand/eye coordination and overall coordination of his body like some of the older kids yet. Does well in baseball and soccer, hasn't quite found his groove in basketball yet with this being his second season.

Overall, yes. The boys and I are holding down the fort and trying to enjoy ourselves. Swapping loads of laundry, got the dishes done, and working on homework now. Trying to get our chores done now so we can get out and enjoy the day tomorrow again.

My last puppy went today. I sold her several days ago but being how they live in Kentucky, they were suppose to pick her up this weekend.

Anyway, the guy wanted to surprise his g/f with getting the puppy earlier than she thought, and though he works graveyard, he grabbed a couple of hours sleep, then took off for my house, a 4-hour one way trip, and he still has to go in to work tonight.

I was touched by that. I think she definitely has a keeper in that man!
