Sure some heroes will be emerging from this tragedy. Even on the footage of the blast you can see Marathon medics and some spectator soldiers in their BDUs running towards the blast to help.
This has always been a violent week in our nation's history...
April 14 - Lincoln shot
April 15 - Titanic sinks
April 16 - Virginia Tech Shooting
April 17 - Bay of Pigs
April 18 - San Franciso earthquake
April 19 - Waco; Oklahoma City bombing
April 20 - Columbine school shooting; Hitler's bithday
Don't Forget:
April 12-14 - First shots fired on Ft. Sumter to officially start the Civil War
April 18 - The shot heard round the world at Lexington
Good post Huck, never really pondered on April as being our violent month.
Hang the fuckers!
Amen TOO that!!Terrible day for America. It's really sad to see those pictures of Americans and the carnage that a coward brought here.
Prayers to the injured and families of all!
Pray for our country
Reports say the devices were 6qt pressure cookers. People say it smelled like firecrackers. Judging from the amount of smoke, black marks on the pavement, and relatively low concussive force I would say it was black powder. So 6qt pressure cookers with black powder and ball bearings, nails etc as shrapnel.. Seems very low tech for international terrorists. They usually prefer chemicals and military explosives on suicide missions. Plus none of them have claimed it yet. Terrorists usually operate in cells and being killed is typically in the plans. They don't typically strike and try to get away, they stay and try to inflict more casualties. Like in India with the hotel stuff. That was suicide bombers and gunmen. I hope it's not domestic as that will be a shitload harder to track and catch the guy, but it is sure looking like it.
Does that mean muzzleloaders are in trouble?
