How did you spend your Father's Day? Any surprising gifts?

Called my Dad and wished him a Happy Fathers Day.
I spent the whole day cleaning the garage, washing ATVs, lawnmowers, tools, etc.
I then went to the store and bought a beef tenderloin and grilled it. Mmm good.

Slept in til 8 a.m the lounged around with my 2 year old son for a couple hours. I had my parents, the wife's parents and sister and fiancée over for a BBQ. Ribs, chicken and hotdogs with some olive oil rubbed taters off the grill. After BS'ing for awhile everyone left and I watched US Open for all of 20 minutes before getting a nice 2 hour nap in. Later on I mowed the lawn and took the mantis through the garden. Evening time I took my boy and nephew and niece to the park and played for 2 hours. Then relaxed on front porch the remainder of evening. All in all an awesome day

I spent my Fathers day with my family on the beach and I must say it is one of my most relaxing days in a long time.

Sounds like you guys had some good days. My kids made me a crown that said king daddy to wear while I lounged around then I did the "whatever I want thing too" and went to the in laws so the wife could see her dad.
