Finally some good news with the hip, went to the Doc this morning, had the staples removed and everything is looking good there he said, 27 of them little bastards pulled out !!! He went over my weekly blood work and said everything is looking good there also, definitely feeling a lot better about things now, not out of the woods yet but things are definitely looking a lot better.

Good luck Whack!

Great to hear Tad!

Gordon, I want to check that tractor out sometime and talk to you about it. I'm considering a tractor in a couple years when we move. Nothing huge, maybe 20-25 hp with a bucket and small hog. I've been eyeballing the Max 22 or 25. I'd love to buy green, but I can't see paying a 30% premium to do so.

All went well. I explained my back history they did some testing range of motion reflexes and the like. Discussed my pain levels and then told me what I wanted to hear. Treat as necessary only when pain occurs. At least now my wife and mom will shut up and leave me alone since I got checked out.

Awesome news Tad! Good to hear.

Jesse- I will let Gordo give you specifics about the Mahindra but I think that subject could be a thread in itself. After running your Dad's monster I think you will be a little let down no matter what you end up with. They will all seem underpowered. I currently have a 30hp Kioti. It does what I want, but I do notice it underpowered at times. I think I would look at 30-40hp tractors in your shoes. I am looking at 40hp+ currently.

Anytime u want buddy. We live so close together we should b getting together once in a while to shoot the shit. Holler next time your coming to athens.

As far as choice, a couple of my buddies have had great luck with their mahindras. Id love a JD, but id love alot of higher dollar items. That extra cash will b spent wisely

First i was going with 3016, then i jumped up to the 3616(a bit bigger tires, other thrn that the size is the same).

I think the size should do me well for now. The tundra will have no problem pullin her on my 18 foot trailer, and this tractor is going to b put to work alot of different places.

Should b finalizing everything today. Ive been saying that forever.

A five foot hog and 60 inch tiller are in the works also.

Shit, i'll drive her down to good old washington county via the back roads. That'll kick me up a notch on the redneck scale. Haha

I'm headed to the Indians-Twins game tonight on an invite from friends. First time in the suites for me. I can't wait!

Sounds like fun. I love The Jake.

Flying out Saturday afternoon for a week in Myrtle. God knows I'm ready for that! The wife is TOO, she's about ready to strangle her coworkers. SSS- Sand Sun and Sassparillas!

Came home and asked the wife what she wanted to do and she wanted to hit a new local pizza joint started by a guy I went to grade and high school with, then go listen to live Latin music in the park. I just had the best pizza of my life! And the music ain't TOO shabby either. Been a great night with my family. Ya a new version of a Friday night for me, but I think I can live with it!!!

Sick as a dog and have been laying on the couch since about 10am. What's good you might ask. A woman who brought home flu medicine both daytime and nighttime, chicken noodle soup, and power aid.
