40 catalytic converters stolen.

They run better without the converters anyways. I can't beleave people have the balls to do that stuff. We have had a lot of scrap taken from our gravel pits lately too.

I've heard where they're go into a parking lot, looking like grounds crew or something. One guy drives his truck around while the other is underneath autos cutting away.

I think around 75.00? That's what some of the guys I know say. I never scrapped one myself, but that's been the going rate.

Wow, that sucks. Last converter I had replaced was about $400 if I remember. Good thing was I didn't have to pay for it as it was under warranty still

I was thinking of cutting the one off the Jeep since it is plugged and all.

You and me both Sam. The $400 converter I had replaced was dealership cost so 6k for a deisel is really STREACHIN it a bit I think lol.
