Finally got out in the woods today and got a couple cameras up along with some minerals, took a little longer than usual because of me hobbling around but it was nice to be out in the woods again!

If it's going on, it is fun beyond belief. And it's only $1.00 per game. Them boy's haven't called me back today....hope their gonna make it!

Yeah its hard to believe that roughly 6 weeks ago I was laying on an operating table at OSU getting my hip opened up again, just thank the good lord above that we caught it in time and I didn't have to have the hip removed!
Almost bought a Strother for a friend today based on Milo's input. Would have never pursued it without your knowledge and thoughts. On the flip side, sounds like I would have gotten stuck were it not for your info while I was there. Just saying, thanks. You are a good man. I enjoyed the education and it was nice chatting. Hope your dinner went well.

Heard a big thump on my living room window about 10 minutes ago. Walk over, look down, and there's this beautiful hawk standing right there. He was kinda shaking his head, lookin like he was about to fall over. After a minute of that he jumps in the bush right next to him, grabs a bird he must have had, and fly's off. Good way to start the day.
Capped off a great weekend with my TOO brothers by taking the wife and kid to the farm last night for a ride on the Kubota. Baby K enjoyed herself and it was nice to see my spraying efforts worked as all 3 plots are deader than a hammer! Ready to plant this weekend!!!

That reminds me...I was standing in my driveway the other day. I looked up in the sky and saw an eagle circling overhead. A couple seconds later two C130s took off out of the Ravenna Arsenal and flew at low altitude overhead the eagle and I. I wish I had my camera. In a couple seconds all three were gone.
Checked cams, 13 different bucks, no does, couple possible shooters, no Spicoli. One has a real crazy left side.
19 years ago today during the late afternoon I married my soulmate. We've been blessed with 2 precious girls along the way...! That is TOO good!

The wife and I had a prayer answered today. Not gonna go into a lot of detail but a few weeks ago the wife had to go to the doctor for a checkup. Long story short she had to have a small outpatient surgery done and the test results all came back negative today and all is good. Thank ya Lord!
