Heading out here in about 15 minutes to perch out and glass the big alfalfa field on that new property I got permission to hunt this year. It should be a good night, its cooling down nice and rain moving in tomorrow. We'll see I reckon.

With my beautiful fiancé at home its more of a kick to the junk then anything else. Entertaining none the less. That didnt happen much in the single days

What a great day! My in-laws watched my kid all day, the plots went in slick as could be, it rained, and I finished the last stand. Other than getting my ass handed to me by my cameras, things are TOO good!!!

I had a good day TOO. Got up this morning and went to Lowes to get the materials to make two sets of cornhole boards and a couple scoreboards. I got the stuff, spite the rain, and was on the way out the door when I saw my past next door neighbor under the canopy outside. She is about 80 years old and still insists on doing everything she possibly can for herself. Well she's out there trying to load a push mower in the trunk of her car and it just wasn't gonna happen. I asked her if I could help her and she said that would be more than they do here. She said she had been waiting for twenty minutes for an employee to help her and she was tired of waiting and was gonna load it herself come hell or high water. The mower probably weighed half again as much as she did so I told her I would be glad to help her and I put it in the trunk for her car and tied her trunk lid down. She told me thank you and asked how I liked my new place, which we bought 4 years ago but I'm sure it seemed less to her, and I told her we loved it. So she thanks me again and off she goes and I load my plywood and 2"x4"s and head for home. I'm working on the boards in the garage and the next thing I know here she comes walking up my driveway carrying a fresh baked blackberry pie. I tell here that she didn't have to do that and she says one good deed deserves another and heads back down the driveway and throws a hand up in the air and says "Got to go, things to do.":)

Ron and I just got back from taking our three daughters on a deer patrol. We saw 11 does and fawns,10
Bucks with three being shooters and one big deer behind the house but it didn't stick around before we got our binos on it. I tried getting pics with the binos but I need practice! Dang that was frustrating!!!!
