Alot of great things have happened here on TOO over the weekend:

J , awesome to hear the results came back negative on your tests, it is like having a weight lifted off your shoulders when you get them back

Gordo, the lawn mowing story and the resulting posts are hilarious !

Don, great deed you did for your neighbor, as the old saying goes good things happen to good people and this act just goes to show it

Dante, all I can say is awesome, spending time with the granddaughter in the outdoors is some great memories and something you will always remember and so will she when she is old enough.

We just got back from camping and attending the Deerassic classic in Cambridge. I was pretty apprehensive about attending this event but after spending Thursday to today there I can say that we will go back next year. The campgrounds are nice, everyone gets along and is very friendly. The event itself was what I expected as I had went there several years ago with some free passes but to be truthful we spent most of our time in the campgrounds and really had a good time. Got to meet Rick (Xbowguy), he was camped just down from us and the crew next to him, all really good guys. The rain Friday night and Saturday morning dampened things a bit and limited my movements to just around camp because of the mud but didnt really bother me because we sat most of the day watching people trying to walk around and trying to get their vehicles up the hill in the campground we was in. We didnt win anything but 2 of my buddies won guns ( a camo Savage 220 and a golden boy .22). I had a really good time and it was nice to get away from the house and have some fun but be close enough to home in case we needed anything ( I only live 15 minutes away ). The hips did good but I didn't push it either and cause any problems.

There is goodness all around. Great stuff fellas!

Today was another great day to be alive. Got up at 7:30 and ran a few errands. Came home and helped with the house work for a few, then headed outside and worked for 6 hours doing all sorts of chores. Got the house looking good inside and out. Made dinner for my parents this evening and man was it tasty! Hanging out with my little girl this evening was the highlight of my weekend. She loves her new swing and slide. She has a knack for putting a smile on my face!

That is cool stuff Tad. Glad you enjoyed yourself and didn't feel obligated to over do it on the hips. Rick xbowguy is a good dude. Glad to hear you met him as well. The guy would do about anything for one of the TOOzers it seems. Doesn't get much better.

Good stuff for Jesse with his mini-me and Dante for the quality time with the munchkin. Hard to beat those little ones. They are awesome.

I got back from our first show today. Had safe travels to and from and enjoyed ourselves. Sales were better than last year but still a bit slower than I would have liked to have seen. I sold several pieces I have been trying to move for a friend and a couple of my own as well. I believe the stable is right where I want it. There is only one left I would like to unload. Then again, it is one of those guns that doesn't break my heart if I keep it. Enjoyed a shower and home cooked meal. Then the Mrs and I jumped on the bike to do some deer scouting together and an ice cream cone at the local stop. Met my parents there as well. It has been nice deer scouting with Erin as she finds deer scouting much more enjoyable when it means we are on the bike. Also nice to know the kids are old enough to leave at the house alone for half an hour to an hour at a time.

Just got back from a long weekend trip with my wife and some friends. We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary down there andhad a blast. Went to some honkytonk's and heard some great bands playing everything from Waylon and Merle to Joan Jett and Poison. It's always a great time on Music Row and you never what you will hear or see.

Now it is time for my liver to recover from 3 nights of boozing. Lol

Put 120 miles on the bike today checking accounts we maintain. Sure felt great putting some miles on the bike while performing work tasks. Last night my dad gave me a number to keep his motorcycle as I had been borrowing it. I don't think he is getting it back. Probably a bit on the strong side of the price spectrum, but how can you possibly negotiate with your dad? It was the worst purchase negotiations I have ever thrown out there. I am afraid I am going to have to figure out how to crap some money now and pay him. :smiley_crocodile:
