I had an awesome weekend. Yesterday I spent the entire day with my son scouting for the football team in the morning, spent about 4 hours in Cabelas, and swung into Woodburys new store on the way back.
Today. Went to a bow shoot with three of my buddies and ate lunch. Then my best bud and I spent the afternoon scouting, hanging a trail cam, hanging a stand, and cutting shooting lanes.
And one more good thing, when I wake up in the morning I will be less than a week from my bear hunt.

Work is finally starting to pick back up since the cool down from a few weeks ago. Got jobs for both install crews all this week and into next week. With the way the phones are ringing we should have next week filled up in a day or two.

Having to send guys home one or two days a week is not a good thing for employee moral, and it really makes my butt pucker.

I got most of the material I need to finish my man shed in our woods, including a steel door with a window that slides up so I can shoot out of it, and of course while I was at Menard's I had to buy a treestand:pickle: Picked up a Big Game Bearcat XL. I'm a tall dude and this stand seems like it's going to work out great!

Just left the house of a guy I only knew through FB. He saw my plead for apples and invited me over today to scoop up 100+ pounds of apples from under his trees. Asked him what I owed him and he said "free from one hunter to the next". It was good to meet him and to meet a fellow hunter with the right mentality towards the sport we all love.

That's a great deal Jesse! I'm gonna clean mom's tree off this weekend and put out some apples somewhere. Maybe the 270 acres down the road.

What's good, my baby girl is four months old tomorrow, and she's growing like crazy! She's now 14lbs 2oz and 24".

I put in a bid on two different jobs today, both with a pay increase, but also more responsibility.

Seven day break starts Friday!

Saturday a group of us are shooting a 3D shoot early in the day, then friends and family are coming out for an evening around the fire and some cornhole!

It's taken me two months to get these things finished, but pretty happy with how they turned out. Not quite how I had envisioned them, but they play well!

Things are just TOO good, and I feel very blessed!
