I hesitate to post because i know there will be ridicule. Look people, I am not exactly the Marlboro Man. I don't have huge muscles. I don't have a Duck Dynasty beard. I did receive a sense of humor and the ability to take abuse though. Sooooo. . . . . . Here we are with 2 weeks growth since the last picture. I realize Beentown, Redcloud, and several of you are waiting until 2 days before the season to start your deer beard. I realize you will have more growth than I do in those two days. I am okay with it. I am going to give it a shot for awhile longer. Probably get shaved prior to my brother's wedding in October, but I will give it a shot until then. Ridicule away. I can take it.

I like the sophisticated look Phil! No, seriously, I do!

Today is day 21 and its the best beard I've ever grown.

Gonna let it run for 2 more weeks, shave, and then grow til gun season. I shaved for Thanksgiving last year so I'll probably do that again this year. Here's to shaving twice more this year.

I shaved mine off for the nookie a month ago and let it start growing again 3 weeks ago today. The plan is to let it go until February and give my best attempt at a Duck Commander beard!

I've avoided this post as long as I can.....fact is I can't grow a beard worth diddly!! I've tried and it just comes in as a patchy mess and now that I'm getting more gray even a goatee looks a bit like a mess after a few days. Oh well, here's to the guys that can! :smiley_champagne:

Been going strong since March. No plans to shave unless I kill a buck opening weekend. I promised my grandma if I killed one opening weekend she could shave it off. I think it's a safe bet.

Obviously the school doesn't mind, but what do the kids think? That thing is badass brother! Love it!!!

Thanks man! The kids like it. Last year when I had a shorter scruffy beard and shaved it, the kids told me I needed to grow it back out so I took their advice. As far as the school is concerned, the superintendent saw me first day from across the room. He rubbed his chin and gave me a thumbs up lol. That's good enough for me!

Mao wins. I am still giving it a go but will shave in a couple weeks prior to my brother's wedding. I don't try to grow beards often so I don't want this one to be engraved in my brother's wedding album. I will start it up again after the wedding.

My super is a deer hunter and we share trail can pics. Sadly, I can't grow a heard very well let alone look like Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Damn man! That's a beard!!!

I have beard envy.
