The first 11 days of archery season about 10,500 does and BBs were killed. Over 1/2 that number were killed in 2 days of ML hunting. If the goal, as stated, was to kill extra does they did accomplish that. Whether they (ODNR) reached their goals as to the number of does killed we probably won't know.

Shhhhhhhh.. Don't say that. It was a great success. I think it's a keeper over bonus gun. ;) Remember. The DNR has a responsibility to blow smoke up everyone's ass equally. They knew they wouldn't see the same numbers as bonus gun. Hell even I knew it. I tried to tell yall this last year after strouds that this early muzzy season isn't going to be as bad as you think and we'll likely see a lower kill benefit as hunters.

We were hunting Washington county right???? If that was the case the TOO deer hunt at Strouds accounted for roughly 10% of that counties deer kill for the muzzleloader weekend.....
