Yeah, Mizzou and Texas A&M were mid level Big 12 teams and in their first 2 years in the mighty SEC they are kicking butt! Mizzou may well beat Auburn. Then what? Oh, and lets talk about style points. Auburn has a loss and needed 2 miracles to beat GA & AL. That doesn't scream dominant team to me.

Also, FSU has beat Clemson and that's the only big win. Guess how many wins over top 25 teams they have combined. 1 and that's because they played each other. Also, FSU is playing Duke for their conference championship. That's pathetic. In addition, their starting QB may stand trial for rape. OSU running back had a skirmish in a bar that resulted in no charges and he was suspended for 3 games. The national media called for him to be thrown from the team. That same media hasn't said squat about FSU QB.

The Buckeyes might not beat Sparty. They've ruined our perfect season before. However if they do, they deserve to be in the BCS championship game.

SEC fans would be better served campaigning against FSU.

Edit: my bad, I see GA IS RANKED 25 in the ap so that gives those acc schools 2 wins over top 25 but one against each other. Bleh!

No doubt. Fl played a shitty strength of schedule just like OSU and doesn't deserve the ranking they have. You won't hear me say otherwise. It's the same bs. Over ranked and under challenged makes for high finishes. That's why I said a FL vs OSU title game will be like watching two midgets fight for the world heavyweight title. It'll be a hell of a fight, but at the end of the day it's just midget wrestling. OSUs Strength of schedule is like mid 60s and FSU is like 55. Auburn was in the 20s. They also unseated the all season number one team. And will play a number 5 team next weekend. The highest ranked team OSU has beat this year is number 16 northwestern. And a number 10 game next weekend. If auburn wins next weekend they've done more in two games to deserve the title shot than OSU has all season. But. We shall see. OSU has what 15 million fans in Ohio. Compared to the 4.8 million in alabama split between Bama and auburn. The OSU "comeback" makes for a better story. Even if they do have to play a shitty ACC team to "win" it.

Way to avoid the Missouri ,Texas a&m points.

I didn't ignore it. I'm just not going to base a teams abilities this year on its performance in a different conference years ago. If we used that logic we could say the Florida gators need to be a big 10 team this year. Texas could be having a great year just as easily as Florida is having a shitty year. You can look back two years ago when Texas A&M joined the SEC and I was all for it. I have always thought they were a worthy adversary and figured they would do good in the SEC. Sometimes when you make a big move it's time to put on your big boy pants and step up to the plate. And I think they've done that quite well just as I suspected they would when I was welcoming them to the SEC. So much so in fact that I am almost willing to bet that Sabin jumps ship for Texas A&M. As for Missouri. who?

By your strenght of schedule argument, Ohio State should of been ahead of Bama. Bama is 61, OSU is 53. And Missouri is the team playing for the sec title, against Auburn , who won how many conference games last year?

The BCS is ending for this reason, B1G, SEC, who cares...the system is broke and there is no good way to fix it...ranking college teams is just too difficult.

Turn that football into a basketball and OSU is now #5...they've beat Ohio, Marquette, American, Wyoming, and U of Northern Florida. OSU would get smoked by Duke (#10) who happens to have 2 losses (to Kansas#6 and Arizona#2). Of course Arizona has pulled off some great wins against big time basketball schools to be deserving of #2 like Long Beach State, San Diego State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Rhode Island, North Florida, and Drexel.....but guess what? They make a bracket of 32 teams and no one argues about who should be in the National Championship.

Hello 16-team college football playoffs!

Some great points there. No doubt the system is flawed. You won't hear these arguments in the college basketball world.

Lots of turnovers by auburn but they pulled through. No defense at all in that game tho. OSU is looking okay against the #1 defense in the country.

Welcome to #8 ohio state... The play calling is hysterically bad.

I'll agree man. Let's do a direct snap run to our qb every damn play. They honestly didn't deserve to win. All the stupid arrogance in the beginning and the terrible offensive execution. Maybe one day we'll be able to use out talent and win big games. We've never been able to win big games.

We have good receivers and no great one. They don't have a level of communication. They need to get above their talent level. They are just play runners and not thinking on the field. I think Braxton needs to learn to read defenses also. I hope they recruit good for next year

MSU has a heck of a good defense and they learned a lot watching how the buckeyes played against Michigan last week. But then again the buckeyes seem to run the same play or same scheme every series... Luke needs to go to. That defense just isn't getting any better...

War eagles vs FSU. We shall see. Don't know how it'll pan out after auburns showing today. I watched some of the FSU game and they had their head on right.
