MSU has a heck of a good defense and they learned a lot watching how the buckeyes played against Michigan last week. But then again the buckeyes seem to run the same play or same scheme every series... Luke needs to go to. That defense just isn't getting any better...

I agree, he's a great guy but the defense isnt improving. I just wonder if B. Miller will leave this year, Im not sure I would like to see him leave just yet.

I hope he leaves. I was vouching the last couple games to put Kenny g back in. I can barely watch miller play. It's the same thing every time. Drop back. Panic. Run. That stuff only works so much.

Braxton will stay and he needs to stay. We cover corners and speed at the ends on D. My guess is Hyde is gone. If we can patch those holes with some better leadership from both players and coaches, we'll regain the respect we've lost. That and when we clean up this sorry excuse of a schedule we play.

That is what I saw. Buckeyes were not without talent this season. Miller HAS talent. Not so sure he is a great leader though. They call in plays from sideline and he runs them. What they failed to maintain was momentum in my view. When they started to get momentum it seemed like they just couldn't keep it. To me the only explanation is lack of leadership. Couldn't think of any other explanation.

Seeing the offense in action once they started to get their crap together most definitely displayed the talent our offense has. Playing the number one defense and moving on them and scoring was a great display of their offensive talent.

The defense? I like Luke Fickle. Stating he hasn't improved in the last couple games is not fair to him in my opinion. They didn't get get a ton of challenge until the last couple games. Inability to adjust two games in a row? Just not sure if this is indicative of Luke's coaching or indicative of a plain and simple week defense. Not a "bad" defense by any means. Just not a national championship worthy defense.

It was a good game to watch. Michigan State deserves to win. Love my Buckeyes, but I know where to give credit where it is deserved. The Spartans deserve some credit in this one.

To be honest, I was having nightmares thinking about OSU playing FSU. Fickel needs to go. Anyone hear his comments after the Michigan game. "We won didn't we?" Defense has gotten worse. Undisciplined. We have athletes, but they are over aggressive, which is why they get eaten alive by screens. The Michigan st dbs are good! How many passes did Braxton put on the money and the db knocked it out of the receivers hands? And Hyde is a senior so he is definitely gone...

When's the last time you saw a defensive player break down and make a form tackle? They fly around with reckless abandon and miss arm tackles EVERY play. We need an AJ Hawk or Andy Katzenmoyer. Or a Mike Doss.

Bets on Shazier staying?

Goodbye to Bradley Roby...first round NFL? What a joke.

That was a coaching loss, Tom Herman got stuck on running with Hyde/Miller and forgot about how an offense is supposed to run. You can't blame Braxton for not being able to pass in tight situations, the play calling was extremely predictable and he hasn't had to throw the ball for 4 weeks. It's just not going to happen.

24-0 is a hell of a stretch, but good for Michigan State to come out and play. Good luck to them in the Rose Bowl.
