What bolts should I use?

I'm trying to find crossbow bolts that aren't too expensive. I'm looking for something 22" long about/at least 425 grain. Would you recommend a 4,3 or 2" vane?

Go into ebay and type in 22" Arrows. Several choices will come up. I like the 2" vanes, but have been buying factory arrows and then re-fletching with 2" vanes later on. Buying them by the dozen, they're down to like 5.00 each with free shipping.

Where did that incorrect term come from?

I remember being a little kid and always referring to them as bolts. Still do honestly.

I try to correct it, but 'crossbow arrow' just dont sound right!

That's funny. I've always stuck to calling them bolts. I suppose, is to make the guy at the counter think I know something about crossbows when I buy more....lol. He probably just shook his head as I walked away.... lol.

Does that count for nocks also because my excaliber bolt arrows dont use a nock. Its just flat with no notch or anything.

It is a bolt. Arrows are over 22 inches... lol. Bolt doesn't have a negative connotation does it? Bolts were the original projectile that xbows used. Easier to differentiate. Bolts....especially since it annoys Mike. Lol

I remember when I was 1st going to 3D shoots there were guys with overdraws on there bows and I swear there arrows were almost bolts
