Its a pot Filled with sand to hold the bone in place. 'antler art'? lol. Still laughing about that paint job. Im never eating pe-ody again. lol

Sorry I just saw the thread. Years ago my wife wanted to order one of those coat racks from a catalog. They were $350.00 back 8-10 years ago and came in 2 pieces with a metal pin in the middle to hold it together and I said hell no! for that much money I can make one so she called me on it.
I went out in the woods. Cut a Maple tree. Skinned the bark off w/ a old knife, hand carved and drilled all the pieces and fit em together with no screw or glue. It has stood in the front hall all that time.
Sorry the picts look like an abandon house but the room isn't used much anymore...
I have since made 3 or 4 more and several Quilt ladders TOO. (even an easier project.)
